Working in partnership with a remarkable pharmaceutical company that had grown to $30 billion in revenues.  The company culture is highly demanding due to the growth, the lean headcount and accountability; therefore identifying candidates who could make the transition to working in more stable companies was challenging.

The Controller is responsible for accounting, internal controls, revenues recognition, working capital and credit management for the $1+ billion revenue affilate in Spain.  A key challenge of the role is to build relationships with non-financial functions such as sales, marketing, mnedical, markets access in order to influence their decision-making so that they take onto consideration controllership concepts e.g. working capital or revenue recognition.
