Managed the search to hire a country CFO for a highly demanding international pharmaceutical group.  The Russia business generated sales of $700m and represented a huge strategic objective for the global management team.  The previous Russia CFO had been highly successful so the benchmark was already very high, and intially the company sought a Western nationality candidate but the successful candidate was a Russian national.
