Hired the no.2 to the CFO for France, Belgium & the Netherland for an NYSE listed company with local sales of $750m. The key challenges for the FP&A Manager were to develop an improved KPI reporting system to better understand the impact of discounts and rebates in sales contracts, as well as manage the total country FP&A cycles. The management matrix employed by this company was highly ambiguous with ownership of the P&L shared with European teams plus the history of acquisitions had led to a complex and large team based across 8 locations, with multiple ERP platforms and four shared service centres supporting.
